P1 Orientation Day
P1 Orientation Day for the 2017 P1 cohort will be held on 21 Nov (Mon).
Home-Based Learning (HBL) on Mon 17 to Thu 20 Oct
During the PSLE Marking Days from 17 – 20 Oct, all pupils need not report to school. We will be conducting Home-based Learning (HBL) for P1 to P5 pupils to meaningfully engage our pupils in active learning during their time at home.
Parents' Survey 2016
The Parents' Survey will commence from 10 - 24 Oct. Please do log into parent's account in MC Online to complete the survey.
P5 Intergenerational Learning Programme
On 3 & 4 November, there will be 8 courses offered by our P5 pupils. All senior citizens age 55 and above are welcomed to sign up. Please click on the title to find out more.
PSLE: All pupils have to come to school
Please note that school is per normal for all P1 to P5 pupils during the PSLE written exam period, ie. 29 Sept to 6 Oct.
Safety matters
With the opening of the New Back Gate, at the rear of the school’s Indoor Sports Hall, parents & pupils who use this gate are to be mindful of oncoming traffic along the service road and refrain from walking on the road. They should walk along the void deck areas instead.

Phoenix Niew Yun Hng of P5 Excellence received the Outstanding Performance Award in the 22nd National Primary Schools On-the-Spot Chinese Creative Essay Writing Competition.
Prime Minister’s Book Prize (PMBP)
Amanda Tan has been awarded the PMBP. She is 1 out of 12 primary school pupils across Singapore to receive this prestigious prize
11th National Primary School Crosstalk Competition (Chinese Language)
Our pupils Roman Sage Tan Tia Hee (P5 Confidence) and Kuritis Lee Tze Herng (P5 Excellence) took part in the 11th National Primary School Crosstalk Competition and clinched the first runner-up position.
Changes to the PSLE scoring and Secondary one Posting from 2021
As announced by MOE, the changes to the PSLE scoring are aimed at moving away from an overemphasis on academic results so as to provide students with more opportunities to discover their strengths and interests. Cashless Financial Management Programme for P3 and P4 Pupils
AGPS is partnering POSB in piloting a cashless financial management programme for our P3 and P4 pupils from July to September 2016.
Mother Tongue Language Fortnight
The Mother Tongue Language (MTL) Fortnight took place in Term 3 for P1 to P3 and P5 pupils while P4 and P6 pupils will experience MTL Fortnight activities in Term 4.
International Chinese Language Competition for Primary Schools
We are proud to announce that Ng Hui En Helene (P6 Confidence) received the gold award for both the Singapore and International Categories and Ng Jie Yi Andrea (P6 Confidence) received the Silver award for the Singapore Category and bronze award for International Category of the International Chinese Language Competition for Primary Schools.
Singapore Tech Challenge 2016
Congratulations to our P4 pupils from the Robotics Club who took part in the Singapore Tech Challenge 2016. They clinched 2nd Runner-up for the Mazebot Challenge and the Most Innovative Design Award.

Anchor Green Primary has been awarded the Silver Award for the Community In Bloom Competition 2016 organised by the National Parks Board.
Closure of Side Gate 4
IMPORTANT: Please note that Side Gate 4 at the end of the school field is closed. Pupils will acces the school via Side Gate 3 (behind the ISH) instead.
Photography and Videography at School Events
We would like to inform you that photographs/videos of pupils/parents taken at all school events may be published on the school’s official media platforms (eg school website, school magazine etc), and used for briefings, workshops or other educational purposes. Please notify the school in writing if you do not wish to grant permission for your child’s or your images to be used for such purposes.
Recycling @ AGPS Programme 2016
Parents and pupils are strongly encouraged to bring old newspapers, magazines or cleaned recyclable plastics bottles from home to recycle them using the recycling bins located at the school’s entrance.
